The Louisiana Department of Agriculture and Forestry reported Saturday that it is asking for the public's help in finding a suspect in the Tiger Island Fire. No details were provided on exactly how investigators believe the blaze started. The Tiger Island Fire, which broke in southwestern Louisiana's Beauregard Parish on Aug. 22, has so far burned 48.43 square miles and damaged or destroyed at least 20 homes and structures. It remains only 50% contained.

             

At the fire's height, it forced the evacuation of about 1,200 people from the town of Merryville, located near the Texas border. Mandatory evacuation orders were lifted earlier this week. There have been no reports of injuries or fatalities from the blaze.       Louisiana, which has been contending with extreme summer heat and drought, saw an unprecedented 441 wildfires in August, officials said, stretching the state's resources thin. Most of southwest Louisiana has been classified by the U.S. Drought Monitor as being in "exceptional drought.""This is unprecedented," Mike Strain, the commissioner for Louisiana's Department of Agriculture and Forestry, told reporters last month. "We've never had to fight this many fires simultaneously and at this duration."                  A $2,000 reward has been offered for information leading to an arrest by the Louisiana Forestry Association.

二 | ”完善指挥调度一体化工作机制，进一步深化无人机、车载视频和单兵融合应用，实现远程可视化调度指挥，不断拓展智慧城管应用场景，深度赋能城管工作。推进智慧城管数据共享，建立政务数据共享审批机制。　　“我们正在探索燃气监管应用，继续深化燃气监管数据共享，利用大数据分析提升燃气全流程监管、处置能力，夯实燃气安全基础。”吴其东表示，2024年，黄埔城管将推进老化燃气管道的更新改造，重点推动城中村管道燃气发展，有序推进餐饮场所“瓶改管”“瓶改电”工作落实。

三 | 深入开展燃气安全风险治理，严打第三方施工破坏燃气管道行为，以高压态势擦亮燃气安全“底色”。

四 | 氢燃料电池环卫车在市政道路作业　　今年，立足“三城一岛”建设，黄埔城管将持续发挥环境卫生精品区示范带动作用，进一步提升城市形象，优化营商环境。优化保洁模式，全面提升环卫保洁能力质效，扩大机械化作业面，夯实工人技能基础，试行人行道小型机械部分替代人工的保洁模式。“黄埔城管将走宽走远绿色环卫发展之路，持续推广应用氢燃料电池环卫作业车，力争将生物岛打造成自动驾驶新能源环卫作业应用示范区，以专业水平引领环卫事业高标准发展。”吴其东介绍道。

五 | 　　2024年，黄埔城管还将探索非物业小区垃圾分类管理新模式，落实物业小区分档管理；创新宣传方式，探索建立街镇监控督导机制；做强志愿服务，广泛发动在职党员、在校学生、家政服务人员等力量参与垃圾分类志愿服务。
